What We Can Provide For Your Child in the Forest Hill Area?

At Inspire Early Learning Centre Forest Hill, all our programs are aligned with The Australian Early Years Framework (EYLF). We focus on delivering special programs that offer a wide range of experiences for children, who are encouraged to learn at their own pace. The Montessori program for children aged six months until six years of age is facilitated in the following ways:

Montessori Program

Our classrooms focus on each child’s holistic development and cover the five areas of the Montessori program: Practical Life, Sensorial, Maths, Language, and Cultural. By utilising materials, exercises, and activities from these curriculum areas, children are well-prepared socially and emotionally for further learning.

Kindergarten

Inspire Learning Forest Hill kindergarten is led by qualified, Montessori-trained teachers. Our government-approved Montessori kindergarten program is available for children aged three to six. It includes quality Montessori materials and activities and enriching extracurricular activities.

Chinese Language Program

To help children expand their language skills and learn about another culture, Inspire Early Learning Journey in Forest Hill offers bilingual Chinese and English-speaking classes at the Kindergarten level. Weekly fun Chinese Language Programs help to broaden language skills and provide insights into other ways of life.

Music Program

Inspire Early Learning Journey Forest Hill offers a music program that enhances children’s cognitive development, language skills and overall learning. With a focus on multicultural music, your child will enjoy learning various songs in English and Mandarin from around the world.

Our well-loved music program follows the play-based Orff approach, combining music, speech, movement, and drama to appeal to a child’s natural instinct for play.

Sustainability Program

The Sustainability Program at Inspire Early Learning Journey Forest Hill is embedded within the curriculum and included in our overall program’s day-to-day running. We encourage children to learn to love and respect the environment through stimulating group discussions, classroom activities, healthy eating, and gardening.

Child Care Subsidy

As a government-approved childcare and kindergarten program provider, all Inspire Early Learning Journey campuses are registered for the Australian Child Care Subsidy (CCS). This program makes child care more affordable and accessible, ensuring children can access quality early-year care and education. The subsidy is paid directly to providers and passed onto families as a fee reduction.

Free Kinder Program

The free kindergarten Victoria program allows children to participate in and benefit from kindergarten programs. Inspire Early Learning Journey Centres’ free kindergarten programs are subsidised at our centres across Melbourne. They are available for children enrolled in our three—and four-year-old program and offer 15 hours of free kindergarten per week for 40 weeks of the year.

Our free kinder programs for three-year-old and four-year-old children incorporate the Montessori philosophy. This approach encourages children to learn, explore, grow, and develop emotionally, intellectually, physically, and psychologically at their own pace within a caring, safe, and structured environment. Children participating in our free kinder programs reap the benefits of our quality teaching and substantially reduce care costs through the Victorian government subsidy. Please view our list of campuses here.
