Brisbane Montessori School

Nestled in the leafy grounds of Fig Tree Pocket, on the banks of the Brisbane River, Brisbane Montessori School began its journey in 1984 with just five children, one dedicated volunteer teacher, and a humble verandah as its first classroom. From these modest beginnings, our school has flourished into one of Australia’s largest Montessori institutions, offering a dynamic, child-centred education for students from 15 months to 16 years. With exciting plans underway to establish a senior school by 2026, we continue to grow, innovate, and inspire a love of lifelong learning.
