Cycle one Montessori Directress  

Full time/Part time position

Beacon House Montessori Centre is a family owned and operated Montessori Centre based in Dandenong, offering a cycle one program (3 to 6 years old) and an early learners program (20 months to 3 years old)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessorian to join our team. The role involves supporting the development and wellbeing of children as well as building strong and respectful relationships within our Montessori community. In addition, we are looking for casual educators with a minimum qualification in Certificate III in children’s services.

Qualifications and skills:

• Completed or working towards a 3 to 6 Montessori diploma (AMI)
• VIT registration in Early childhood
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Demonstrate the ability to work together in a team environment
• You will need to possess and display a passion and commitment to early childhood education
• An understanding & commitment to Child safe standards
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Minimum of two years classroom experience

Apart from the above requirements the candidates will also have a valid WWC, first aid & anaphylaxis training.
