What We’re Looking For:

– Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) – essential.

– Current teacher registration with ACECQA is required before starting.

– Montessori qualifications or experience – highly desirable.

– Passion for the Montessori philosophy and its practical application.

– Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

– Excellent communication and the ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

– Current Working with Children Check required before commencing employment.

– A minimum of 1+ years of early childhood teaching experience is required.

Teaching qualifications and registration from New Zealand are recognized in Australia under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement (TTMRA). If you hold a current, full New Zealand teacher registration and practicing certificate, you can apply for registration in Queensland without having to completely retrain.
