Part-Time | 2 Days per Week (Growing to Expanded Role in 2027)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and Montessori-qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our warm and collaborative kindergarten in Brisbane.

This is a part-time position (2 days per week) commencing in April 2026, with a clear pathway to increased hours, leadership opportunities, and expanded responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering a high-quality Montessori program aligned with the EYLF
• Creating a calm, engaging, and respectful prepared environment
• Observing and documenting children’s learning and development
• Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Contributing to curriculum planning and continuous improvement

About You

You are a thoughtful and motivated educator who values child-led learning and is committed to professional growth.

Essential:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Montessori qualification
• Current QLD Blue Card
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS

Highly Regarded:

• Experience in a Montessori early learning or kindergarten setting
• Confidence in planning, documentation, and reflective practice
• Interest in stepping into future leadership or educational leader roles

Importantly, this role is part of a planned leadership succession, offering the opportunity to transition into a senior leadership position, including Director responsibilities over time, supported by mentoring from our current Director.
