The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Montessori Primary Teacher to join our 6 –12 year program on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Montessori practice, values collaboration, and is committed to nurturing curiosity, independence and academic growth in children.

You will be part of a supportive and professional team, working within a well-prepared Montessori environment that honours each child’s developmental journey.

About You

The successful candidate will:

· Demonstrate a strong commitment to Montessori philosophy and practice

· Inspire and engage children through purposeful, child-led learning

· Build respectful, trusting and responsive relationships with students

· Possess a strong understanding of curriculum and child development

· Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families and colleagues

· Contribute positively to a collaborative and reflective school culture.

Essential Criteria

· Recognised Primary Teaching qualification (NESA approved)

· Montessori 6–12 Diploma (or currently enrolled and actively working towards completion)

· Eligibility to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check

· Current First Aid certification and Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary

$94,155 – $133,009 per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading, in accordance with the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.
