Montessori Primary Teacher – Permanent (Stage 2 and 3: Ages 6 -12 years)

About Us: Established in 1981, ISMS provides Montessori education from birth through primary school. Our vision is to offer a comprehensive Montessori education that fosters self-discovery, holistic development, and a lifelong love of learning.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a full-time (part-time available for the right applicant) Montessori teacher for our 6–12 year old program. We need an educator who can inspire learning and nurture children’s curiosity. Starting Term 3 2025.

Ideal Candidate:

· Passionate about education and Montessori philosophy.

· Effective communicator who supports child development.

· Builds respectful and trusting relationships with children.

· Knowledgeable about curriculum and child development.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Criteria:

· Recognised Primary Teaching degree (NESA approved).

· 6–12 Montessori diploma (or actively enrolled).

· Ability to obtain a WWCC.

· Relevant First Aid Certificate and Child Protection training.

Salary: $90,100 – $127,281 annually, plus 17.5% annual leave loading (Independent Schools Teachers Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025).
